Dr. Jim Liu is a Board-Certified Internal Medicine physician with extensive experience in both primary care and hospitalist medicine. He currently leads the clinical team at Prime Medical Health and Wellness/Umedoc in Fort Myers/Naples, FL, where he provides telehealth and part-time hospitalist services. Dr. Liu has also served as a Medical Director, overseeing general medicine, skilled rehabilitation, and wound care. He earned his MD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Dr. Liu holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Harvard College, graduating Cum Laude. His research includes work on Omega-3 fatty acids and cardiovascular health, and he has been recognized with several awards, including the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Hematology Scholarship. Dr. Liu is fluent in Mandarin and Taiwanese and has a strong commitment to community service, having served as a preceptor and instructor for medical students and physician assistants.
